Tony Forsen, Chief of Police



 

Education

Tony Forsen graduated from Ulysses High School in 1994 and attended classes at Garden City Community College.

 

Beginning His Career

Tony began his career with the Holcomb Police Department on April 10, 2000 at the rank of Police Officer I.

 

Process of Promotion
Tony was promoted to the rank of Police Officer II on April 16, 2002.  He was later promoted to Corporal on December 12, 2007. He was again promoted to the rank of Sergeant on September 22, 2010. On May 11, 2011 Tony was appointed as the Chief of Police.

Accomplishments

Tony has received a Lifesaving Award from the Holcomb Police Department for his participation in a CPR Field Save.
Tony has also been recognized for his use of the STOP STICK, tire deflation device, after a pursuit came into the City of Holcomb.   

 

Additional Certifications
Tony has attended the a Glock Armorer’s Course and is the department armorer.

Tony is a certified TASER Instructor and conducts all of the training of the TASER.
